Hello, my name is Joachim Pileborg.
I was born on the 29th of January 1973, in the Swedish city of Visby, which lies on the beautiful island of Gotland. There I lived for the next 9 years, and then me, my mother and my step-father moved to a small village called Ekeby, where I lived until 1991 when I moved back to Visby, this time by my self.

Since then I have lived in Stockholm, Ronneby, and since 1997 I live in Trelleborg.

I don't really have any formal education. I left the "gymnasie-skolan" (a mix of senior high-school and junior college, I think) without very high grades. Later at the University-college of Karlskrona/Ronneby (now known as Blekinge Institute of Technology), I left with one "point" (one week of full-time study.)

Despite that I now work as a pretty good paid programmer at FMT Aircraft Gate support Systems AB, and is basically in charge of the stand-planning system Atlantis.

Most of my free time I spend in front of my computer, where I either play or program Muds, making other small programs, or just nothing special at all.

Despite my heavy involvement with computers (yes, I'm a computer nerd! ;), I also do some things that doesn't involve computers.
Among those other things is sleeping (and still I get to little sleep), spending time with my friends, or sitting in the sofa reading a good book.
Lately I have also found the Japanese anime world, and I have some DVD's.
Another thing I like is to read comics. Mostly "normal" comics like Beetle Bailey, Calvin & Hobbes, and other such comics. But I also like more odd things like the work of Gary Larson. What I like most though, is darker comics, like Johnny The Homicidal Maniac by Jhonnen Vasques. It is Johnny (or Nny as he prefers to be called) that is depicted as the background picture on my pages.
