More updates...
It now has been some time since I last wrote something here. So you might be wondering what have happened lately...
Well, to start with, a couple of weeks ago me, Arlene, and a few friends went to Gotland for the medieval week. It was quite fun, and the first time on Gotland for most people. They said they enjoyed it.
What more? Ah yes. A former colleague of mine from TAC got my CV and showed it to the agency where he gets his jobs from. It seems I might be interesting for a couple of jobs. So it feels nice to have something coming, and I just hope I get one of the jobs.
Visit by relatives
I guess I have to get used to having a big family.
Updates...
I'm not writing here as often as I should, I think, so it's time for an update of recent events: Nothing much is happening.
Kind of an anti-climax I guess, but that's about sums it up. Of course, we have been visiting and meeting friends and family quite a lot, but that's about it. Most recently we went to see my father in Vinslöv, were we had dinner together with my brother.
Next up is the Helsingborg Festival, were we will spend some time together with Arlenes family here in Sweden. And of course we will be back in Malmö for Robbans birthday-party club. ![]()
Everything is a-ok
After a little over ten months, I could finally hold my wife in my arms again. It now have been a couple of days since she landed on Kastrup, and it feels very nice to have her back home. We have been to Helsingborg to meet most of her family there, and hopefully we will see most of my friends soon to.
But nothing good that doesn't contain something bad... I am now unemployed. Went to the unemployment-agency yesterday to register. Both me and Arlene is keeping our fingers crossed that I will find a job soon. And hopefully she will find something too.
Cleaning in the heat
The weather the last week and a half has been really good. I mean, really really good! Sunny, almost cloudless, and very hot. Even in the middle of the night, the temperature doesn't drop below 15 degrees, and during daytime it is well over 30 in the sun.
And as if the heat wasn't enough to make me sweat, I'm also busy cleaning, which makes me even sweatier! And it doesn't matter how much I clean, there is still too much to do to be finished before Arlene comes home. Today I have to put a lot of stuff down into the basement storage, vacuum and wet-wipe the floor, do general cleanup of the living-room, do a general cleanup of the bathroom, clear the closet, and also do the laundry. The only room I won't put more time on now is the kitchen, and it actually could use a little more. But it's good enough for now.
Anyway, Arlenes flight leaves Cebu in just a few hours, and the last leg of her trip will end in about 19 hours. Everything I do will be worth it when she comes!
